OUR HISTORY

Lang Monument Co. was founded in 1894 by Edward D. Lang, providing a service for families seeking personalized memorials that paid special tribute to their loved ones. Incorporated in the 1920s as the E.D. Lang Company, Inc., we have maintained our name and our mission ever since.

In 1945, Fred W. Allison purchased the company from the E.D. Lang estate and served as president until 1948. At that time John W. Allison joined the company as president and served until 1987, when his son, Tim Allison stepped in, becoming the third generation of the Allison family to own and operate Lang Monument until November of 2023.

In November 2023, Larry Conti bought Lang Monument Co. from the Allison Family. Larry has been serving area families with their memorial needs since 1971. He and his family continue the legacy of quality memorials and superior service. 

Although changes have taken place over the years, one thing has stayed consistent. Lang Monument Co. has always provided the finest quality of granite. We carry a wide selection of granite colors to choose from and specialize in crafting the most unique memorials. Our services include crafting mausoleums, memorials such as monuments, slants, and markers, bronze markers, inscriptions, memorial cleaning and offering a perpetual warranty. We remain dedicated to serving the community the highest grades of granite at the most affordable price.
